Ryan Bates

Ryan Bates is the owner of New Orleans-based Bates Management LLC, a minority certified business enterprise with certifications of real estate development, business management consulting, financial consulting and broker fee transactions. His firm is certified with the City of New Orleans and federally with the State of Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. Bates has successfully completed $85 million of real estate development utilizing historic Federal and State Tax credits, low-income housing tax credits, and community development block grant funding in New Orleans, Louisiana since 2015, as well as transactions in local opportunity zones. Bates also serves as Vice President of Development for IDP Properties, a full-service boutique real estate development firm headquartered in Valdosta, Georgia that invests in and redevelops communities. He is responsible for real estate development and new business in the New Orleans market as well as asset management of the company’s eight Louisiana properties. Bates is a native of New Orleans, LA and earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Leadership Studies. He began his professional career at JP Morgan Asset Management where he was series 7 and series 63 certified working as an investor for institutions and high net worth private clients.
